I like the layout of your ground, but that texture is more of a good bark texture than a ground texture. What I usually do is get 95% of my modeling done before I even start on the texturing. Keep that texture though, it should be great for your trees.

thanks for the comment... any and all textures are temporay... i feel anything is better than plan grey...

tree texture... hmmm... yes... I think so!

also, I think I'm gonna pull back a bit and have more of the glade and stream in view... it could get a little cramped once I stick everything in
