Its based on a sketch a friend of mine did.

a few things...
cant quite make out his face?
the furthest shoulder piece looks bigger then the one nearer one, which forces the image flat.
his leg looks out of proportion (very long thigh bone - very short shin bone)
he's missing a thumb! perhap's a pirating accident?
lovely atmosphere though

that was a quick analysis, but very helpfull. Thanx. Most certainly he lost his thumb in a battle.

Beside very dynamic enviroment and composition , it's too static for me. This priate have something wrong with his figure, if you understand what I mean. Maybe more sneaking postion would do this artwork good :) Beside this great CG :)
