I just started studying anatomy and sketching, I was never into art so this is just a start of my journey. :wavey:

Glad to hear you're joining the brother/sisterhood. :)
If you're just starting I feel that you need to have a strong foundation.
I recommend you purchase the Vilppu Drawing Manual and use it as your primary source for your journey as a draftsman.

Beyond that, anatomy is really overwhelming for a beginner. The best thing you can do is start with simple 3 Dimensional forms and refine them the rest of your life. I reccomend the Bridgman books (available cheaply) and Artistic Anatomy by Richer.

The most important thing you can do at this stage is get a clear ciriculuum for yourself and draw like mad. Hundreds of drawings a week. Don't fall into the trap of vanity trying to create finished drawings that will impress laypeople (like your mother). You won't produce anything of value for years. Work from life, from imagination, and from the old masters. The most important of the three is imagination, of course.

+1 for Glenn Vilppu. Please check out some of his videos, they are bar none, excellent. :)
