this is the background image for my new online portfolio. My intention was to create a slightly erm... dark atmosphere.

I like it. The textures are nice, the lighting and composition are good. This would make a great book cover. I like the way you used the backgrounds behind the top left and bottom right of the drum.

Very nice! However, I still think it could use some MINOR improvements.

1. Yellow is too distracting

First of all, in my mind that shade of yellow always reminds me of vomit :scream: ! I think some fire (or even nothing at all...) would look much more appealing to the human eye.

2. Skin is bare

The cloth that is hanging should have a faded symbol on it- VERY faded, and something meaninful drawn on it, like a bear. Fade the texture away so that it is very subtle.

Very nice though! I think it's that yellow that gets me ;)
