Is there a setting in Zbrush to help detect Multiple UV shells?

I am using Zbrush 3.1 and Zbrush sees them as a single UV shell unlike Mudbox.

It looks like UV was crashed... Check this out.
tool>textures map>new from UV check.

This model was fresh unwrapped from Maya just to let you know.

Hmmm well sorry I can't do that..

But just note that this model has UV shells in the 0 to 4 space in the UV editor

Update your zbrush to 3.5 for starters and see if that helps with your problems
