Hey,
I'm making a 3D scene which I want to try and make really realistic. But tonight I tried moving the cement tank right next to the concrete pipes so the shadow of the tank overlapped the pipes. This gave a really neat result, but I could stop noticing the shadow inside the pipes.
Here is a little image: file:///E:/My%20Dropbox/Public/4.jpgfile:///E:/My%20Dropbox/Public/4.jpghttp://dl.dropbox.com/u/1071125/4.jpg
Shouldn't the shadows inside the overlapped pipes be darker? I checked it in photoshop, the non-overlapped pipes have the same shadow color then the overlapped ones.
I also noticed that there are some darker (almost black shadows) on the floor at the pipes that I believe are realistic. So why is this not right inside the pipes? Could it be the material which has the wrong properties or something?
I hope someone can easily tell, because I'm not sure I can solve this with the knowledge I have.
But you you need renders or other info, just aks :)
Regards,
Harm
