View Full Version : Which gfx card......??

actually i have budget of rs. 10000 or 215$ for gfx card so in this range i found two cards Nvidia gts250 or ati 5770. I want to know which card is good .
According to me i found ati 5770 faster and more future proof than nvdia gts 250. As i use gfx card for both gaming and for 3d purpose. I am student and don't have budget for a good workstation card.

What software are you using? Ati cards are pretty notorious for being buggy in Maya but not so much so in 3DS Max. For Maya I'd stick with the NVidia cards. either of those cards will be fine for gaming, so that shouldn't be a concern so long as the rest of your system is up to par. A super GFX card will only get you so far when you have a 3-yr old processor and 512Mb of ram.
