starting this here thread to model old man on hill, very daunting especially since I'm not that skilled.

I'd like suggestion on how to model, started the robe using splines and hit two walls as soon as I started. first should I model in standard character pose (arms wide out to the sides) and then deform to look like pic, or model in pose as on pic. second is there a better way than splines.

here's one suggestion, use bigger pics, it just looks like a red blob on top of the poster

here is the robe coming along from new, my pc crashed erased everything. starting on the hood, but like I said splines are causing some complications so any ideas at this point will be helpful, crits welcome.[img]

using bigger pics.....hmmm, there is an upload limit of 20k, should I find some free webspace and link it, don't know if it will work I'm kinda new to this.

help!

as for the model yeah it does look like a blob, good observation I'm working right now to add to it so there'll be more soon.
