Hi, i'm working on a project now that involves exporting animated sequences from After Effects, that can take some time to adjust and re-render. One thing that would be nice would be to be able to adjust a multiplier on the transparency file, for example, for fine adjustment of brightness INSIDE Maya (so i don't have to re-export blah blah)

I know I can probably use a multiply/divide node in Hypershade, but I really have zero experience playing around with shading networks in the graph area, and thus no idea 1. between which two nodes to place the multiplier, or 2. what inputs/outputs to connect to (because there are like a hundred for each.)

What I thought would be a simple operation is turning out to stump me, and i couldn't find any simple, "assume i'm stupid" tutorials on the subject.

Thanks
