Ok, I did this little test here for a project. The glass texture is NOT double sided as the glass have already 2 sides. If I enable double sides, it get very ugly, not realistic at all. Is there a way to fix the blacks without enabling Double sides??
My rays recursions is at 20. No difference while going higher.
thanks

What's your backdrop colour?!
Wait! Let me guess... Black?! :-)
Change your backdrop for a colour that suits you, or make it a gradient, or better yet, use a background image, or HDR.
Explanation: It seems that what you are getting are reflections/refractions of your backdrop because you are using a ground plane too small, that finishes right out of camera view, so we can see the edges of that plane and then the background, which must be black.

No, the background is not black, its a gradient backdrop for the radiosity. I noticed that the blacks are also holes in my alpha channel... when I export the sequence to after effects, the blacks are transparent area.

I found the problem... RayTrace Occlusion was on! with RT occlusion off, all is clean!!
sorry for the trouble, thanks for the replies!

Thanks for updating the solution. Curious, I usually use RT Occlusion... but probably never had a scene with glass when using it! Lucky me!
