View Full Version : Post race thread
lildragon 09-18-2003, 11:56 AM Sorry guys I'm going to do something here I didn't want to do, but I'm going to delete that thread. This site is not the place for such behaviour, please refer to our policy if you have any doubts.
Frankly I'm quite perturbed by the fact you all are trying to out count another application forum. It's childish and shows the animonsity you have for the particular app in question. Concentrate on exceling in your work and not worry about what others are doing.
760 pointless replies, I mean seriously guys.

yeah thats an good idea,
i too thought such a childish behavior should not have its place here.
to my opinion, it even brings cinema into a light of "nonprofessionalism" in comparrison to 3d max users. it really doesnt say anything about an app or its users, how much post counts are in a forum.
users should more care about cinema, and their work, about sharing knowledge to become more and more professional. there really is no need to show off like " we do have more posts than the max forum". it isnt even funny.
well,just my opinion, of course...

delete, delete, yeah it was pretty stupid, but unfortunately it's not the first, I don't know why people think it's such a big deal about having the most posts?

I think it was good plain fun, and just innocent. But CGtalk generaly is dead serious so that may not be suitable.
just my 5 cents.
and i aint judging no one.

but we could also continue the heavy posting in this thread ...
It was a fun thread, at least the first night it went up I did enjoy it for awhile, but I agree it was also completely ridiculous and contained almost nothing related to Cinema or even 3D in it. Deleting it is absolutely the right decision. Now boys and girls, let's make some nice images and WIP's.
