Im kinda new to the 3D community, as I'm a graphic designer at heart but I love all aspects of digital art. Here is a character concepted and built for an upcoming motion graphics short about cyberpunkism (if that's a real word). Anyways, hope you like the render. Thanks.

Cyber, ok.
Punk, where !?

I see Cyberpunks more like some really rotten High tech upgraded pUnKs with many cables and dirt, more likely to an extravagant look and not as steril and charming as this one.

Nice Model though!

But u could point out some more details through a better Texturing !

I saw your name on the start page and I knew there is only one Fluxen! I love your motion work. Especially this Resolve (http://www.fluxen.com/resolve.htm)

3D is a great business and I'm looking forward to see all the stuff you do...

Hey thanks for the replies.
Good to see a fellow designer in here Jankin.
I think I have the notion of Cyberpunk wrong so I will change the title. Thanks for pointing that out. I'm not sure about adding more detail though. I like the sterile, clean look. Perhaps, I'll work on the lighting and adjust some of the perameters.

Also uploaded another image of the face closeup. I'm starting to rethink the whole animation thing.....the render times are killing me. :annoyed:

Later!

cy·ber·punk

noun

futuristic science fiction: a type of science fiction featuring characters living in a darkly frightening, futuristic world dominated by computer technology

Jeez...when I was young it sounded so in the future but now....

Back to the model:
Excellent work!
Very cool design.
Would love to see more renders and wires of this!
The only crits I would have if any would be the nose looks a little too small and the chin seems a little too pointy...
But this is great work.

Looks really nice. Your website is a bit sterile as far as anything outside of being a portfolio presentation. I'd like to see some process and more info on what you are doing and your plans and goals. Its always nice to understand a bit of the artist/designer to see where and how other people do their work.

were u goin for a stylized anime look?

it seems that way anyway..

if u were goin for a realistic look, nose and mouth + facial shape needs proportional fixes :)

other then that looks like a pretty neat character ! :applause:

Hey...thanks for all the replies.

Yes I was going for an anime type face. The eyes are like

It reminds me of that game too. LOL. Im kind of in a phase where I like that look, and I had to get it out of my system.

It seems alot of people are looking at my site at the same time which is cool. Theres one last render so check it out.

Have a good night! :)

Really nice !!!

But as the others members notice , it's not really cyberpunk, it's look like more classic SF character !!!

But this girl is really cute .... I'm in love ?

Hey! the model is awesome! but as other cg users noticed... to become a cyberpunk you need to "kill" her. Add some sarchasthic items on her! see my pick and you'll understand what we want it to be. not that exactly but near!!!
