I think the glass and wine and lighting look great.

Are the leaves actual meshes or photos? If they are meshes, I would definitely crumple them up a bit. I think the leaves are too perfect and straight? if that makes sense. Also, I would twist / bend that grape vine stem.

The glass is perfect but there doesnt seem to be any real light direction...the grapes and leaves all seem to be doing a balancing act....the wine seems too dark and there is something going on in it that makes it look too thick...if this is in direct light then caustics should be coming through the glass and wine like a frieght train...


This is the only thing close I could compare your render to but if your glass is out in the open then the shadows are way to undefined...I mean it looks awesome and I am getting really impressed with V-Ray but there still seems to be something missing...

But after 2 bottles of wine opened there shout be some finger or mouth prints on the glass!
The grape could better lay on the table.
Impressiv quality of renedering and lighting!
The color of wine does'nt look natural (just a personal taste!)

Thank's for the comments, All are good points, :) .

I have worked on the leaves and the branch and will try to get the grapes, lighting, caustics and Wine in order and post an update soon.
