hey all,
i recently rendered out my demo reel as an uncompressed avi file for dvd. now i'm getting ready to put the demo reel on a web page and i need advice on how to get the smallest file size possible with the best possible quality. basically what file format and compression settings should i render out at?

For high quality at low file sizes, H.264 is a good codec. It's used for a lot of web video. It's the codec inside of F4V Flash video files, for example.

There are links to some documents that give detailed recommendations about H.264 settings towward the bottom of this page:
"Render and export a composition as an FLV or F4V file"
