Hi! Ho!

I would like to know if anyone has heard about any existing translation of the wonderful Painter tutorials book from The marvelous japanese painter artist Katsuya Terrada? This book is called Painterbon and yes it contains a lot of images showing every steps but I would like to be able to read Japanese (I'm learning but it's very long!)

Or maybe a japanese CGtalker could translate it for us... onegai shimasu!

I second that. I just got Painterbon and it is my fourth book of his. I love his stuff, and this book is actually quite good in showing steps by steps, he even has pencil drawings in the back so you can scan them in and follow along.

Do you know any sites where I could find some info on the book and the author? Amazon.co.jp turned up with 0 results!

Anyway I do know some Japanese, so a might even be able to help you with translations, should I be able to get my hands on the book...

You can get it at animenation (http://store.yahoo.com/animenation/494775222x.html)

Or you can go to Tokyo in Shimokitazawa or Kichijoji at the Village Vangard store ;) That's where I saw it.
