I've been modeling some framing to a house. I'm not very far along but I made an exterior wall frame.
I created 1 polygon rectangle 2x6x120". I created instances out of that and duplicated it every 16".
I textured the original 2x6 and adjusted the UV so the texture looked right. I thought the other instances would update themselves automatically but they are still default grey.
Is there anyway to apply the texture to the initial geometry and have the instances update?
I feel like I'm missing something as I can't seem to do it.
