View Full Version : Help with Maya modelling wanted

Okay, so when i right click the object, select face and then select one of the faces, all the lines change color to yellow and red, and everything inbetween, there are little squares where the vertexes would be. I have a picture showing it: http://i48.tinypic.com/2mqq3qr.jpg
Im new to maya and i need to remove this effect to keep modelling this project :P

Thanks for helping. :)is that soft select thing they introduced in maya 2009 I think. You need to double click your selection tool and uncheck soft select. http://i48.tinypic.com/30sbsp2.jpg

You can also switch it on and off as required with the hotkey ' b '. :D
