CGTalk - interactive skin tool crash

I'm trying to adjust my interactive skin with the tool.

It worked great the first time. But now I'm trying go back adjust the weights with the interactive skin tool and it crashes every time now.

Using osx 10.6.3 maya 2011 64 bit.

Anyone else have this problem?
