View Full Version : gamma correction and mia_material
rochre26 06-03-2010, 08:45 PM I have a copper material made with the architectural material. I'm using a linear workflow but don't know how to hook up a gamma correction node (maya or mip_gamma) to this material. Can anyone help?

drap and drop dude.
why using a production shader? Just use a gamma node and drop it onto whatever color slot your after. You can then throw a map onto the value of the gamma node or simply set the desired color in the swatch.

I wonder, people who incorporate gamma correction into the mia_material_x, do they make a phenomenon, or do they simply change the script for the mia_material_x in the mental ray folders?
