CGTalk - Mental Ray 3 for Maya 4 load error!

View Full Version : Mental Ray 3 for Maya 4 load error!

Hi all,
I have error when loading Mental Ray 3 in Maya 4 using windows XP!
Maya shut down after loading (and wrote before shut down "Master loopback (I think) not connected")

I think I need Service Pack 1 for windows XP, is that right!?
Or what's the problem? And how I can fix this problem?

I guess Mental Ray for Maya works only on Maya4.5, it doesnt support the version 4.

This is "MENTAL RAY V3.0.5 FOR MAYA 4.X" (It's for Maya 4.0.1)...
And I have Maya 4.0.2...
