Done in UDK March. Three weeks of work, still improving my skills but happy the way it came out.

As someone that grew up in New Orleans, while it looks good, it looks WAY too clean. :)

I know it looks clean, I was running out of time for this project. I grew up on the north shore and spent much of my weekends in NO I know how it gets. I should have just put a generic name and not NO. Even though that building is on St Peter street I changed the street and changed the building a little. ;)

hey you have the right basic shapes going on right now, but before you start to texture it or light it you might want to go back in to doing some more basic props for it. for example pipes and pillars as you can see in the one picture you need to break up those straight walls, no environment will have straight walls or hallways having props to place in those empty areas help break that up, what i do while i build an environment is block in the basic shapes than start to focus on one area replacing the walls, floors and ceillings with better shapes that are not just flat and straight, than what i will do is build props that fit into the building or environment and i keep a copy of it in the same file but have it off to the side so i can copy it and place it into the building anywhere i want and place it where i need something to break up that empty space. its always good to keep a props space in the same file filled with a whole bunch of objects, as you can see in that one picture someone else has posted on here you can see pipes running down fences to break up different pieces pillars and lights hanging down, trash cans, etc. also no environment is perfect by this i mean all signs are not going to hang straight offset certain things help break it up as well.

well i hope this helped and good luck please post more if this helped you would love to see more
