Hi, i need to create the rock like on the picture, but must be more realistic http://www.cunt-face.co.uk/nerdnight/stats/images/de_dust2.jpg Can't find the way to do it, can someone help please

Well, that's just a bunch of polygons with a texture. The way to do some nice rocks for next gen games is to make a box with a few polygons and move its vertices, so you get a mesh with a no clear shape. After unwraping, import the mesh in Zbrush or Mudbox to make a high poly sculpted version of it, then bake the high poly into the low poly to get a normal map.

You just have to paint the diffuse on Photoshop or Gimp adding some rock texture layers and make a specular map.

So, if you plan to model rocks, I recommend you checking some sculpting tutorials for Zbrush or Mudbox, which is the most important part, along with the diffuse map.

You're welcome. Of course, there are many more ways to do it, but that is the best idea that comes to my mind. Anyway, you can let your imagination fly.. And find a creative workflow.
