Hi ! We are three students. Well, not exactly. We left our animation school and instead of the last year we did this film, Salesman Pete, and this is the trailer
We are working on it since September and the final movie (5 minutes length) will be watchable this summer.

It's about a salesman who is also a secret agent and who fights crime across Pickle City. He has to stop a bunch of bad guys who stole a magic stone from a museum. The stone can transform any object it touches into seafood !

Damn, quitting school served you guys well! Haha. Look and feel of the piece is really fun - loving it. From composition to animation to even the music. Bravo.

The characters and the environments looks great. I have the fast pace racing and shooting scene.

I love the style and the characters are truly awesome. Can't wait to see more!

How did you make the cartoony look? Is it just with "Ink n paint" materials or is there something more to it?

For my final year project at uni I'm making a 3D short film and I'm debating with myself whether I should use a cartoon style or a more normal 3D animation approach.

Hi. Thanks for your replies.

There is no ink and paint material in our film. For the characters, we obtained something similar but with the compositing.
Backgrounds are all painted.

This look fun! Can't wait to see the finished piece. I'm kind of curious as to how you're going to portray the salesman, you could really take it a lot of different directions.
