cheers guys

i've modeled some intricate laces(3dsmax) that go around in a cilinder(viewd from the top). i wonder if there is anyway to adapt them to the girl's breasts area without losing much of their shape(i tried path deform and ffd's but doesnt look right, it deforms the laces too much

i'm wondering if anyone has any solutions or ideas on how to solve this

thanks

skin wrap (in list of modifiers) and conform (under compound objects) both have something to offer here.

In newer versions of 3ds you have tools in the graphite modeling tools that are made just for this situation, use them to draw your polygons on the surface of the female base model.

In older versions Using poly-boost(plug-in) you could also achieve this fairly quickly and effectively.
