Been digging through the archives, but though I found the question posed, I did not find it answered. So...can you use multiple bend deformers on a single object. I cannot seem to make it work. It seems like it must be possible, but I can't make it happen. Thank you for your help.

I played around a bit with it, and it seems to work alright - a bit hard to predict the results perhaps... I threw a twist deformer into the mix as well, and it seemed fine along side of two bends, or even two twisters and four benders...

The only thing I noticed is that you should keep all the deformers direct children of the object, don't make one bend the child of the previous, just stack them below the parent object.

But then again, I don't know what results you're looking for... I was just fooling around a bit, and that works OK.

EDIT: Oh, and better keep the mode set to 'within box'

you can, but there are some limitations. see this thread:

one way is to put your deformers in a null with the object you want to deform you can have as many deformers as you want on any object.

And then there's this wonderful little plugin:

 Thanks guys. I got it working fine this morning. Don't know why I couldn't make it happen yesterday. I'm not doing anything all that different... I'm not doing anything too special; just trying to throw several bends together. Go figure...
