hello everyone,

Im rendering out an environment I just "finished" and its taking longer than I think it should ( ~12min per frame). My problem is my computer is barley running at 25% max CPU. I expected it to be running much higher then that while doing a maya batch render. The specs for my computer are as follows:
Processor - Intel Core i7 CPU 930 @ 2.8Ghz, 2801Mhz, 4 cores
Ram - 9 Gb
Graphics Card - ATI Radeon HD 5450

Any idea why its only using 25% of my CPU or does anyone know a way I can tell maya to use more of my CPU (like you can in photoshop)? If anyone needs more info about the machine let me know and ill gladly post it. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Does the same thing happen when you use Backburner or render from command line?
I am guessing not. Check this out
