hello everyone.
I'm a new user to maya and have started learning using the digital-tutors basics CDs.
on CD4-rendering, I have encountered a problem while using the interactive placement tool.
the tool's handles aren't showing and I cant see the results of replacement while moving the texture around. (IE I move an invisible handle, and I can see the results only after I release the mouse button).
I have looked for solutions all around the internet and with friends, and have found 1 post in 2cows and 1 post in the CGtalk forums from 2008. both were non-informative and locked.
I would appreciate any help or insight on this subject as it's driving me nuts, and I hate moving forward before completing a task.
