Devarshy I disagree. Yes in theory the building should be more detailed, but in this particular work if it was it would take away from mr reaper, your eye would be drawn to it. I like the way it is not detailed in that area, makes the reaper stand out more. And I think this was on purpose.

I think the colour of the baby works really well. It draws your focus to it, which I think is the idea. It's the same colour as the fire which makes me think that the baby has just been burned in it. This is the baby's soul, well at least thats my interpretation. Remember, fine artists use repetition of colour to link meanings, and it just makes sh@@ look cooler

If kesha3d had used realistic colours it wouldnt be the cool stylised,artistic piece it is.



kesha: my one crit is maybe it would be cooler if you spent as much time adding detail to the baby as you did on the robot. Right now the baby looks rather lifeless, oooops maybe thats on purpose:D

Very nice painting!
The only thing I don't like is the way he's holding the baby.
He should have his arm under him, otherwise he would drop him.
And we don't wan't any babies to get hurt here do we? :)
Also, the baby looks a bit stiff... Well, allright, it's winter and he doesn't have any clothes on.... :)
Other than that... supercool painting IMO!

The weridest thing about it for me is the general lack of "movement" in that no one appears to be hurried.
It just lacks dynamics is all.
It almost seems like everyone is standing around seeing people get fried and the main person is just hanging out with a baby. If thats the case great, if they are supposed to be running away from the robot, it doesn't work. For me anyway.

THis is REALLY slick... only, the whole "foreground/background" relationship kinda confuses me. My mind sees that the reaper is the same size as the robotic beast thing that i think is supposed to look as if it's in the distance...

besides that, this is impressive.
