P.S.: before we get a hundred of comments about that: yes, the tree still has leaves. We've created a tutorial (http://www.creatogether.com/summer-to-winter-touch-up) around this and wanted to show how to handle snow on leaves, so we chose to go with a tree not losing his leaves.

I think it looks pretty cool the tree issue is already mentioned and well other than that I think this would be a photo manipulation rather than matte painting, cause here the main focus is the bus, and the lack of visual composition makes it an illustration which by that I'm not saying this is wrong , this is actually well done and great feeling to it, the tutorial is great and it has a lot of techniques other artist can learn for their matte paintings !
