View Full Version : How to render in wireframe and shading?

I wish to render in wireframe mode but to keep the shading as well so that I don't see the wire that is behind the model.. Is there a way to do it in 3dsMax? a wireframe material does not do that as it render only in wire and forcing wireframe in the render option is the same.

so far what I do is to make a copy of the object and give it a wireframe material, but it's anoying and time comsuming and it does not always render it correctly.

any suggestion? someone mentioned a script???

Create a texture map that is a square with a pinstripe edge of color around the whole thing. Apply that w/ face mapping.

Just use "Texporter" Plugin for that.
There is an option that If you check this option the face edges will be shown in the resulting image(Your Texture)
