View Full Version : how to duplicte half head's UVs?
rayguo 09-16-2003, 04:25 PM i have i head, and want to set the uv for it in the texture editor, but i dont want to set the whole head's uvs, so how to set half head's uvs? just like modeling half head, and merge it at last? this can save alot of time!

simpliest way if you are fresh out of the modeling stage:
delete half of it and texture the remaining half.
when you are happy with it select all polys and use symmetrize polygons, texture UVs will be preserved and no useless clusters will be created.

yes, several (hundreds) times.
sympoly works pretty well in any situation
