Ohh man, yesterday i've finisched my work and now i got a couple of hours to build my first serious character.. I'm still a newbie to character setup! These are the day the most important for me to understand characters.
I think that this maquette (or mannequin) may be usefull for most people on this forum.
Here are some screenshoot and the first scene i build for maya5.

I don't have time to look at your scene at the moment, but here is my DrawDoll (as i call him). Look at it, and see if it is helpfull.

but i dunno if this the right way! (?) :hmm:

select the circle and constrain->Pole Vector to the ik handle...

I should place the circle more in front and a bit higher. And the parent him ro the knee joint. This way it travels allong with the skeleton, and it will never be lost.

I just try to complete all the tutorials that were about building skeletons and i watched some video's from 3dBuzz that came allong with the 3dWorld magazine. And after that i found a way that gave me the best results without a lot of effort.

And i'm doing 3d for four years now, that will give some experience to i would say.
