View Full Version : Realflow character - impossible?
TurNEo 05-24-2010, 12:52 PM Hey all, I want to make something in realflow.. but not a water simulation, rather a character.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQ9_zFAk1EM
in this movie, in points 0:23 and 1:00
you could see actual geometry being made liquid,
now, my guess is they modeled the geometry in their primary package, and then had transformed it in Realflow, but how do I do that? that's my question.
Thanks for all the helpers and non-helpers

import you geometry into real flow and you have a few options you can use the magic deamon which will make the fluids take the shape of your object and cover it.
or you can make a object based emitter.

you also need to download the plugin for you 3d package on the nextlimit website to import your object. that will give you a clean mesh. inside rf.
a way i know you can create this effect is by select emitting from object, then try to use a deamon such as k volume to kill particle on parts of the object. then slowly animate the kvolume out side your object so it will finaly emit the whole object
