Hey i was wonder if there was a toon shader for lightwave. I have tried ureal but i can get it to come out right. Or is there a tutorial for toonshading characters.

PS. I am not going for the cel-shading look but the cartoon look. thanks in advanced

Hmm, I'm clueless when it comes to Lightwave, but since you asked in this general forum anyway, I guess I can answer :p

If you're talking about the classic Disney toon look, I'd say those are usually constant shaders (sorry, that's the RenderMan expression, don't know how it applies to Lightwave)... the surfaces usually don't vary in color at all, so setting up the shader should be trivial for simple lighting conditions.

What you're probably looking for though is the outline- or contour-shader. Do a search for them on CGTalk and/or Google, I'm sure you'll find one for Lightwave...
