deem them spokes, sweep nurbs wouldn't work for a week or so until i discovered that the spline was closed.

mihkeltt,
SWEET Bike dude!
Very cool. I am in the procces of building a bmxer dude and a bike. So this image is very insipring!
Can you post some wires?

It's hard to see on this low res image but I don't see the welding on the bike. Are you planning on putting that in?
I think that the red material is really good.
Everything looks way too clean. the pegs need a little "dirt".
The top of the front tire looks like it is too close to the forks.
The section profile on your rims look too rounded.

Sweet!
Keep on postin'

the material is done by the instructions of third eye. and the dirt will be added later, cause this is just an image to show some process and early materials. i'll think about the welding whether to make them or not. and the tires are indeed really close to the fork, some 2-3mm space over there. wires are not beautiful, cause it's mostly sweep nurbs and booleans of primitive objects. only things taht are modeled are break levers and tires.
still a lot of detail to be added.

mihkeltt, great model so far, I only have one crit...

You said...i'm planning to add as much detail as possible.

Then...i'll think about the welding whether to make them or not.

If you look at your reference pic you'll see that the welds are very visible on the bike, and I think that 'if' you are looking to create a realistic model of the bike you have to add the welds.

Just my $.02

Keep it up!

Looks pretty damn good so far. Alot of detail... but if you are going for detail, well first I'll admit Ive never seen that bike.
Anyway...
Why such large dropouts? The axle bolts and pegs are too small. Those thing would snap in no time.
I cant tell from the angles you rendered but those crank arms seem really long.

I'll have to post my S&M PBR when its finished, low poly game model I did for fun...

But your model looks like its coming along extremely well.

i'm pretty sure that you've never seen such a bike, cause i've built it custom - HOFFMAN EP frame with my old GT parts on it.
these are regular 10mm dropouts, so they're not that big - haven't seen any smaller. i know that the pegs are too small but they haven't snapped in three years. i'm planning to buy some new ones soon anyway. and the pedals are indeed long, but that's the way i like it, get better acceleration when peddaling out of a trick.
