Im pretty happy with my head model at this point (or at least tired of tweaking it already). I want to mirror it and attach the two halves together. I haven't come across too much info on specifically how to do this. I also need to attach the ear to the head, but merging vertices never works for me. How do I create one seamless object out of these elements?
Any crits are also welcome.

Haven't figured out how to directly post pics from geocities, so you'll just have to follow this link. Thanks

Oh, i'm modeling polys and converting to sub d's

Go to your Move Tool...
Un-Select constrain components...
Select the verts on the mirror axis and hold "x"...
Snap all those verts to the axis at 0.00...
Mirror the object...
Select all the verts on that mirrored axis and merge verts...
Check to see that infact they did merge...
If not then expand the reach of the merge in the Merge vertices options panel...
Stand back and say "Je suis un dieu de 3d"

Nice model by the way!

Thanks. I've yet to try it, but the process makes sense. I just thought it would be harder than that for some reason.
Looks like my images are loading extremely big...don't know quite what's wrong with that.

A good step-by-step tutorial can be found here: http://www.maya3d.dk/Tutorials/HeadModeling/HeadModeling.htm
