My latest creations are shown below - c&c allways welcome!

I am not a big fan of the greebles.

I found better stuff on your website, like this one that I like a lot:

Yeah, you probably not getting a response because really there wasn't much thought or effort put into these. There's not much to say because you haven't given anyone aything to talk about.

They look nice but, it's just greeble and GI. Put some effort in and maybe you'll get a better response.

If you're into abstractions like these, come up with a concept and use MaxScript to write your own Greebley plugin. I didn't know it existed, but it looks very easy to program.

ohh, shiny GI cubes :) Those things must have taken a while to render. It is interesting to look at all of the shapes, the first yellow one reminds me of a city of some sort. I guess there is nothing to change

I just want to clarify, was there any purpose behind this or did you run a plugin and then render, bang pow?

Agreed, the first one has a deceptively ordered disorder. The others are anti-climactic.

I like them actually...
I mean I could see prints of these Greebles in a hallway or something...
Keep on with what you like and damn the torpedos.lol

hey in the end things get going :)

i dont wanted to create something overwhelming... its just the joy about having less effort and getting results, that please me - nothing more.

ok, just using a plug in and starting a render is not that work, but i tested many lighting scenarios and matierials to get results that could be real though i dont know what these things could be - except the cups and the glass of course.

abstract scenes are my favorites and therefor it is allways difficult to please the mass, so thanks for your positive reactions!

erm... rendertimes where about 10 mins on a 1800er P4 with 512MB and geForce4 (a notebook).
the only thing in this scenes that took that time is the GI. i had another one with DOF - that bitch took 5 hours *grrrr*
