Could anyone help me with this please. I am having no luck with this and have tried many things.

The emmiter or previous event has the partciles travelling around a circle(spline) which is bigger than the opening to the tube and is located just above it.

I am trying to figure out how to suck these particles all the way through the tube at a relatively constant speed.

Any help MUCH appreciated!

In the max helpfile (or maybe it's the extras disc, I can't remember) there's a great tutorial about arrows flowing through a pipe following a speed by icon operator. The pipe branches off and some flow into other pipes. I think this might help you out.

I've just tried to find this tute and I can't. Spewing. Stupid lack of memory. I can't remember where I read and followed it.

Although I did just upgrade to 2011, maybe it was a 2010 tute...?

Thanks guys. Yes it seems like using the speed by icon tool works well for this.

For anyone else who does this for the for the time just remember to keep an eye on the order of your pflow stack and make sure the speed by icon object starts moving from the same point in space as the particle emmision or else your particles won't follow the exact path.
