Hi
I I installed Autodesk Maya 2009 yesterday and since I've never done any modelling before I have a small problem. A few hours ago when I wanted to (for example) change the resolution of a cube in the "channel box" I had a header titled "INPUTS" where I could do all that. Now I think I must have clicked something and the header "INPUTS" is not there any more. Could you please help me with that problem because as I said before I'm still really rubbish with this program.

PS Does it have anything to do with "history"??
PS2 Sorry if I put this "thread" in a wrong place.

I have Maya 8.5. The 'inputs' i guess i called attributes earlier. Hit Ctrl+A to get the channels window and hit CTRL+A twice to get the attributes window. Hope i am right.

If you delete the history off of an object like a cube in Maya, you won't be able to modify the resolution from the attributes tab. Also, if you modify the cube, such as adding faces to it, or things along those lines, the resolution might not work properly, even if you haven't deleted the history. This has to do with the fact that stuff like resolution is used more as a starting point when creating the cube, to give you more control over it before you actually go in and tweak it.

Hope that helps.
