Great so far. The fingers look a little bit too square. Same with the arms and legs. The creases in the hand look a bit artificial -- make the inbetween parts have more of a bulge so that it's not just a flat area with a indent but actually a crease caused by a skin fold.

Looks Good So far.. i agree with Stu.H, the creases should look more organic ( currently it looks like it is drawn ) It would be much easier for everyone to critique if you had posted some of the reference images used and also mention the development stage of the foetus which you are looking for, right now i assume you are going for a 40 week development look.

Overall there is a nice feeling to the sculpt. Good job so far! Eager to see the next update..

does anybody else think it's a hack move to post something you're being paid to do on a WIP section, asking for help?

ps. no i don't think asking for help is a bad thing but not on a job.

These were the kind words given to me, so I will pass them on to you.
And besides missing some plumpness around the skin creases, it doesn't look like you need much of a critique anyway.
Your model looks fine, and is close to being finished.
How long did it take you to model?

Regards,
-Bergquist

i am working in small company, where there is only one modeler(that is me),i dont hav a team lead or some one like dat to giv me critic or correction.nd thot it will b great if some one cud giv critics..
thats y i asked for help in here, before passing it for further procedure(tecturing lighting and animation etc)..i think..ur nd my situation must b different. nd its not good manner to copy pate some one else's words..say it directly wot ever u have 2 say..m sorry i am not fighting...just wanna clear the situation.

I didn't say it directly because they aren't my words, so why did you repost it as a quote from me? I did not originally post it.

If it wasn't in good manner to copy and paste other's words, they wouldn't have a "quote" button.

So not only did you copy paste my words, you changed the quote to best suit your post, as again, those weren't my words.

You also didn't bother to quote anything that I actually said.

Lastly, no. Our situations are very close to the same. I work for myself. The smallest company one can have. I have several freelance jobs, including medical videos such as this one, that I never post for help. The single time I did, I wasn't even asking for help on my model, I simply wanted help finding reference, and that was the response I got. I thought it was a valuable lesson in what is appropriate to ask for help on, and getting paid isn't one of them.

I wasn't trying to be rude, and like you, I'm not fighting, I just wanted to be clear my intentions were to tell you it might not be appropriate for you to be asking for help on what you are getting paid to make. I also wanted to let you know this was not a single minded ideal. It was told to me by someone else, thus the quote from them.

In the future, please quote me accurately.

Thank you for your understanding,
-Bergquist

seems developed for a fetus. It would have to be close to term. Is that what your trying to do?

I'll admit that I didn't read the whole thread. The model looks fine. I am interested in how you will andle the skin and it's translucency.

Good improvements, although I can still see that the legs are too "blockish,"

This is looking really good, Sabith! I think the only thing I might point out would be a more defined ridge on the top of the head where the baby's "soft spot" would be. The two back plates of the skull wouldnt be fused together with the frontal plate, so there's a distinct 'pocket' you can see; on some babies better than others I suppose.

Also, if you need more reference, my wife made me visit this site every week when she was pregnant with our first. ;)

Pretty cool 3d videos.
