View Full Version : Bus terminal

(http://assets.cgsociety.org/nvart/239230_1273324062/1024bound)There is a bus terminal somethere in future with buses at background and road patrol vehicle on the foreground that use electromagnetic field for hover effect.
I tried to keep general style of Syd Mead but also I would like to save own individuality.

one of my favourites, congratulations on a rock solid design ethic. the whole scene is just wonderful.

for me the background (horizon, few buildings, etc) is a bit disturbing, but the design of the foreground is just awesome!
it's on my virtual podium :)
great style and design, well done

I definitely love your vehicle design! Very well done. If you were to go mess around with it again, I'd work on your environments and lighting. The neon lights look good, but maybe go watch Blade Runner for some inspiration. I think a slightly darker environment would really make this piece stand out. That's just me though, I love the rest of your designs.
Good luck with it!

Thanks for comment. I think, "Blade Runner" is rather "dark" story and I wouldn't keep such feeling in my artwork. I would like to show "lighter" future, full of light and some "positive" atmosphere.

One of the best images yet! Great style!!, my two cents is to widen the lens a bit to add more depth and grandeur to the vista. Hope you get a chance to polish this one.....Stellar work man!!!

The visual style is nice but don't you think those vehicles are a bit too narrow for a bus? I couldn't see how this would be an efficient way of transportation.

The vehicles are an interesting mix of design elements of Syd Mead and Luigi Colani (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luigi_Colani).
