Hey guys; this'll be my first participation in the modeling challenges as the uni year is finally coming to an end and time is begining to free up! I've started late and dont have a whole lot of time to dedicate at present but i will be doing what i can around my final piece for the acad.year.

Im going to be modelling a Manefish; and possibly a lizardfish (if thats its correct name).

As you can see its still very simple and ive yet to add the finnage. Though i think the basic shape is good enough for now. Will work on finishing the mouth which is currently a hole in the mesh in the aprox. shape i am getting from source images and then i may import into z-brush tomorrow. Depending on how i feel when i look at in the morning and on peoples feedback.

Last update for tonight, gonna crawl off to bed.

Given another half hour odd to tweaking bits an pieces and adding the fins.

I am modelling with fins stretched out and will deform them later for the sake of it being easier for me to add detail to something which is already fully extended, rather than sitting for hours figuring out how forces are going to make something deform :P

Night all!
