Well, I finally had to do it, a producer was sending my music video reel out and insisted that I finish my animation reel so he could tack it on for the client to see.

I have been procrastinating on this for as long as I can remember. Anywho - at least I have a starting point now, there are alot of things that I want to replace right away, but the hard part is done - I actually made one.

any feedback in helping me fine tune would be much appreciated.

Thanks guys!

so what type of job are you going for?

I like your 2d animated graphics a lot!

I saw that orc character revolving and wanted to see more of it... 3d.

on the back-end of the demo, the loading of the film strip footage was a lilttle redundant.

but good none the less!

Wow, damn nice reel you got there. I really like the music selection. The film loading scene is sorta obvious. BTW, what software did you use?

like "Joss" said... what are you going for. Feels 2D to me.

The music I didnt like, but then again i listen to elvis presley.

That was pretty good, a whole lot of interesting stuff.

The only thing is that it didn't flow together very well but I guess that keeps you watching.

Wow guys, thanks for all the feedback...

TO answer some of your questions...

I am currently looking for motion graphics / VFX - Compositing work. My skillset is primarily 2D but I am learning Maya and hope to integrate much more 3D into my work in the very near future. (that's why I am now hanging around the famous Cgtalk, if just a little of the talent from this board rubs off on me, I'll be good to go :) )

Joss - IF you really want to see more of that orc character, you'll have to ask KingMob. :)

King Mob - I finally put together an updated personal site with all my broadcast / VFX stuff, hopefully I'll have it up before the I go away on thursday.

ntmonkey / verbal007 - thanks man! The Music is called Lovebox by Groove Armada. And I was pretty sure that any more of that footage was too much, this is part of what I was referring to when I said "there are things that I want to replace immediately" thanks for pointing it out.

bigbad - I hope you are right, cross your fingers for me :) I'll buy you lunch when I get my first MTV gig.

stephan2002 - thanks for your honesty, do you have any more specific feedback as to the flow?

Thanks again all for checking it out - I really appreciate it.
