Hi guys,
I'm very new to particle flow but thanks to KY Trails I'm having some good fun playing with renders. I like that i don't have to render anims but can see the motion quickly and easily. (maybe there's a built in way with PF?)
Anyway, I've created a Helix path, I've put a circular PF source at one end, position icon, Speed by icon (path constrained down the helix).
Then I added a motor to the scene and added a force to the PF. That starts the particles spinning how I'd like but it runs out pretty quickly.
How do i go about keeping particles spiralling around a helix as they travel along it?
I've also tried sweeping the spline and then using a speed by surface along with speed by icon and force but that's not really working out.
Oh and I tried animating the pf source and have that spinning but that clearly didn't work either.
I guess the look I am going for is like rope, twists going along the helix.
How should i go about it?
