Here is my first "serious" head (and my 1st poly one).
It took about 4 days. It is not perfect, but I'm quite happy with it.
Hope you like it too.
3ds max 5 and textures made with Photoshop.

Hey, congrats on the first head, its a bunch of work.
Anyways, the back of the head is too flat, it doesn't curve out then back into the neck . The ear lobe is too flat, and out of proportion, and the adam's apple does not taper back down into the neck, it just kinda keeps going. It seems like the head under the touque is also too rough, even if there is supposed to be hair under there, it would be much smoother.
Texturing looks pretty good, overall you have a good head to keep working on. Check out some art books that have the anatomy of the head, it'll help the proportions alot. Good luck.

You're right. I'll fix it.

Absolutely right, the adam's apple is upside down...:rolleyes:

Well, it is my first one, we can make these mistakes... :cool:
