Hi, i'm new here and currently studying 3d modeling in a college. I'm currently learning rigging halfway and was curious about how to make a polygon hair. I know there's a type of hair called varga but that's not what i wish to seek. Anyone know any site about polygon hair tutorial? I been searched the web for quite sometimes and found nothing regarding the topic. I do not desire any strand by strand hair, I hope to create hair which are piece by piece. I'm using maya since my school teaches only maya sofware.
Several questions (it is a pretty nooblish question, but i must admit i am a noob.), I'm not sure whether this is a right way to do polygon hair but this is what i intended to do after uncover nothing searching for tutorial in google.
Is it possible to create polygonal hair just using extrude?
Will it be possible to animate out?
Do i need to do the rigging for the hair that i extruded out?
