First thing first: this is got to be the best forum I have ever participated in. Thank you everyone.

(Working towards that avitar) I have been working on this still for about a week now. I have been staring at it way to long, and was hoping i could get some crit on it. I was hoping everyone could point out what looks off to them. This was my first try at bubbles within the soda. I plan to redo the table so it fits the environment, and im still working on modeling the bottle caps. I have hosted two shots post photoshop/low res, as well as the origional hi res versions. I have just read the rules and will post a wireframe when I get home.... If you want any closer shots, just ask.

nice work. I see nothing wrong with it. if you want to be different, maybe you could change the background. I think everyones seen that background before.

the tabletop needs some sort of texture as well.

granted you don't want to take away from your bottles and caustics, but the pure white tabletop doesn't work to well with the forrest environment IMO.

I don't mind the forrest background so much, just would like to see the table "fit"

otherwise, this is looking quite good!

just my 2¢

Thanks for the replies.

Big: ha-ha, Thank you for the knowledge LiquidArts.

Wintermute: Thx. I think that table makes the bottles float a little too. I wanted to make a wooden tabletop or something to that effect. That would help the scene dramatically.

I tried Bending up the table to block out the background; giving it a kind of studio effect, but imageworld gave the bottles too much dark reflection. The bottles almost looked stained.

Now im diving into "smartskin" and prob won’t pick this project up for a while.

Thanks again.

Humm, nothing like a Izzy Soda for my walk in the wood, so refreshing....

Since whe're in the "focused critique" I'll need to add a professional advise.

Why not add a board who say not to leave trash behind, for the sake of my children future.

that about it!!!

The pure white table doesnt work with the forest, its just too clean. I can see the table being there (i take fold up tables camping each year), just its way too clean. Put some scratches on the surface to emphasize use, as well as smudges of dirt or some fallen debris from some trees above or somethin.
