View Full Version : why maxon remove this feature in V8.x
ohichan 09-12-2003, 05:05 PM In v 7.303 , when you change the noise sitting for the light and make this noise animatable over time , you can see the animation in the noise sitting , but in v 8.x this feature was removed. WHY!!!!!
I hope you guys understand what I mean by that, see those pics to know what I mean :

and in V8.x.
this is not just with the noise of the light ,it is also with all the shaders that include the same thing , e.g. water shader ...etc.
well it does still have the velocity setting so you can animate it but yes that is rather odd.
I wonder what the reason for this is.

All the animated previews went from the Animation Manager - I seem to remember someone said it was a bit tricky to do a realtime animation with the new AM structure, but it would return one day.

Hi,
it wasn't possible to implement this witj the Attribute Manager yet, but it will be available in one of the next CINEMA versions again. Of course it will be improved ;)
Cheers

They keep things like this for when they've run out of features to add. Trust me, I'm a programmer...
