Exciting challenge. reseving my place.
I'm going to try an inverse Tron concept.. mostly minimalist white instead of black... concepts soon.

curious what would happen if I reversed the environment?
It could have an interesting look. How about a 'sanitized' very clean white all around Tron? Not sure yet...
Here's is a first 'playing' with the look. I'll get busy tonight modeling a new lightcycle. Will probably base it on the Legacy cycles... or a furutistic looking Ducati.

Looking good. I think you might have some motion blur challenges with large treads like that. Going with a smoother tread might make the motion blur process easier and faster to render.

Thanks Mustan.
I agree. I think Motion blur will create some issues... I'll try a couple of tests when it's all said and done... Though I still like the contrast of rugged tires against a squeaky clean floor =)
I also just noticed that these may be the sci-fii version of white wall tires. I need to work on the lighted rim a bit more.
I'll start working on the light cycle body tonight.
