(http://assets.cgsociety.org/nvart/417731_1272907111/1024bound)This is the "Squalus" Electric Car, by the Vibora Motor Co. Each of the four wheels contains its own electric powerplant, and is not attached to a conventional axle in any way. Instead, each wheel rotates and pivots within its own socket by means of a system of rollers, electro-magnets and an independent suspension sytem. A central computer manages and coordinates the workings of all four steerable powerplants. This guarantees complete control and superior handling at any speed. The overall shape of this vehicle was inspired by a member of the shark family, so I chose the appropriate name "Squalus". I had a lot of fun putting this one together, and imagining how it would actually operate.
